Jumeirah Beach has also become home to some of the most prestigious hotels and resorts in the world.  The first being the Burj Al Arab, completed in 1999, this iconic structure has become the epitome of ultra-luxury, being the only 7-Star hotel in the world, and the trademark of Dubai.  As part of the Jumeirah hotel chain, it is owned by the ruling family.  Next to the Burj Al Arab, is the luxury resort of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.  Designed in the shape of a wave and providing the best in resort amenities, including its own private beach with amazing views of the Arabian Gulf, it is also part of the Jumeirah chain.  Nestled between the two and part of the Jumeirah Group is the popular family fun spot, known as the Wild Wadi.  This water-themed park offers an array of rides and attractions for kids of all ages.

Further down the road, visitors can enjoy more of the Jumeirah Brand, with the popular Madinat Jumeirah, or the “City of Jumeirah”, recognized as the largest resort in Dubai.  This city within a city, houses 2 hotels, and 29 luxury-style hotel villas surrounding its uniquely designed Arabian-style souk, all connected by waterways that are used by water-taxis to maneuver it guests throughout the resort.  The Madinat also offers some of the best views of the Burj Al Arab from an area just outside the Costa Coffee Restaurant located within the souk.

The Jumeirah area is also home to the Grand Jumeirah Mosque.  Considered to be one of the largest and most beautiful, it is one of the most photographed attractions in Dubai.  It houses the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding that offers guests a tour of the mosque as well as providing further insight to the life and religion of Islam.

The Palm Jumeirah is located just off Jumeirah Beach.  This man-made island in the shape of a palm tree, has become quite display of ingenuity.    Known as the 8th Wonder of the World, this island houses an array of luxury villas, apartments, and hotels, the most famous being Atlantis – The Palm.  Situated at the crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, this resort has a wide selection of luxury amenities including a water park known as AquaVenture that offers a vertical waterslide that is 61 metres long, and Dolphin Bay where visitors can interact with these beautiful and gentle creatures.

Also as part of Jumeirah Beach, there is the chic urbanite community of Jumeirah Beach Residence, known locally as the JBR.  This area features several fine luxury apartments, pristine white sandy beaches, and The Walk, housing many fine designer shops and outdoor cafés providing for a true Euro flavor in this once desert city.

The Jumeirah brand has become synonymous with luxury and indulgence, and most can be found along coastal area known as Jumeirah Beach.   Let Dubai Shortstay assist you in arranging your stay in Dubai in one of its most exclusive areas.  It is sure to be an experience that you won’t soon forget. visit us at www.dubaishortstay.net
